With BEAMS‘ latest Reebok collaboration, the Japanese imprint is inviting the Paris-based restaurant/label Paperboy to dress up the Club C Legacy.
Unlike its recent appearances, the silhouette here arrives stripped of all color. Instead, white neutrals are used heavily, dressing everything from the leather paneling to the sole, lace unit, and lining. And though rather subdued in this regard, the two’s branded additions are quite a bit more playful. The side is plastered with the Paperboy name, penciled atop in a thin font like that of the shop’s existing signage. Behind, the heel’s “Reebok” stamp is executed similarly, while the tongue offers more refined examples of the BEAMS text and the French eatery’s logo.
